A Fowl look
For Nature Photographers it’s about ‘shooting wide’ - capturing both the subject and its surroundings - all the while isolating the subject on an expansive and exquisite but uncluttered background. Not always easy. Nature is ambivalent when it comes to cooperation. On the other hand, it can be cool on occasion to go for the mugshot; to shoot ‘tight’ and crop tight. As an example…..
