Silver Salmon Creek

Lake Clark national park and preserve, on the western shore of Cook Inlet, is a stunningly beautiful piece of Alaska with its craggy mountains, active steaming volcanos and vast tundra landscapes crisscrossed by rivers, streams and foraging coastal brown bear. Mother bears take their cubs to clam the shoreline on idyllic summer days while the elder bears await the coming of the salmon.
